UPDATED BENEFITS INFORMATION

  • Company-Sponsored Health Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision): As insurers and benefit providers are scrambling to help their clients through this, we are still waiting on answers as to what we can do after April 30. They may make adjustments to existing regulations to allow us to loan our employees benefit premium amounts and repay them through arrears when they return, HOWEVER it is important to note that this is currently not allowed. We are working with providers to try and figure out solutions to this issue. 
  • Voluntary Benefits through Trustmark: Please recall that voluntary benefits through Trustmark are still the responsibility of employees who have enrolled in those plans, and Knighted cannot temporarily sponsor payroll deductions for these benefits due to compliance requirements. For Trustmark, you have 90 days to make payments. If required payments lapse beyond 90 days, your Trustmark plans will terminate. For Discovery benefits (commuter plans), you are able to modify your contributions or cancel your plans at any time. 
    • For instructions on how to continue payment for Trustmark plans during your furlough, please contact 1-855-393-3604 Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT. or call Trustmark Customer Care at 800-918-8877 or customercare@trustmarkbenefits.com, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. CT.
    • If you are enrolled in the Discovery Benefits Commuter plans, you may choose to modify or cancel those plans. If you would like to make changes to these plans, please contact Winston Benefits Customer Care beginning April 1, 2020 at 855-393-3604. 
  • New Hire Benefits Enrollment: For those of you that are new hires and would be reaching your enrollment eligibility window during the shutdown period, your eligibility date will not be impacted – meaning, you will continue to be able to enroll at that time. Please note that our new enrollment administrator, Winston Benefits, will be available beginning April 1.
