CARES Act Passes
The President signed into law the CARES Act, a stimulus bill intended to help Americans through the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. While we are still working through the details, HERE is a link explaining economic impact payments from the IRS, and what you can expect to receive. The bill also includes significant expansion to state unemployment benefits that may increase the benefits you will receive during the shutdown.
Shelter-In-Place Updates
As of March 31, 2020 Six counties in the Bay Area- Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Santa Clara, San Francisco and San Mateo, plus the City of Berkeley – have announced that shelter-in-place orders will be extended to May 3.
